The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (Anugerah Remaja Perdana Rakan Muda)
A life-changing experience — discover new talents, develop skills for life, and have fun with friends.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a life-changing experience. Through your unique DofE programme, you can discover new talents, develop essential skills for life and have fun with friends.
Any 14-24 year old can do their DofE. Achieving an Award isn't a competition or about being first. It's about setting challenges and pushing personal boundaries.
There are three progressive levels — Bronze, Silver and Gold. You build your own programme around the sections below, agree your goals with a trained Award Leader, and work towards them over a set period of time. The more you put in, the more you get out — and there's no pass or fail. The only person you're competing with is yourself.
In Malaysia the Award is delivered as the Anugerah Remaja Perdana Rakan Muda (ARPRM) under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, run through licensed Award Units nationwide since 2000. It is part of a global framework operating in more than 130 countries and territories, recognised by employers and universities around the world.

Levels

Make a real difference by giving your time to help people, your community or the environment. From coaching younger children to conservation work, you choose a cause that matters to you.

Physical Recreation
Improve your fitness and wellbeing through sport, dance, martial arts or any physical activity — whether you're already active or starting something brand new.

Skills
Develop a practical or personal skill, or take up a new hobby — music, coding, photography, public speaking, cooking and far more. Show real, measurable progress over time.

Adventure
Plan, train for and complete an adventurous journey as a team. You'll navigate unfamiliar terrain, look after yourselves and your group, and come back with confidence and stories to tell.
