Our company
DOE Training and Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd. was founded in 2015 with the vision of empowering young people through education, training, motivation, and internationally recognised youth development programmes. Led by a professional management team with more than 20 years of combined experience across the education, public, private, operational, and business sectors, the company is committed to delivering high-quality programmes that support personal growth, leadership, resilience, and life skills development. Through the Join in Award Scheme (JAS Malaysia), previously known as the Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS), and Anugerah Remaja Perdana Rakan Muda (ARPRM), also known as The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award (DofE) in Malaysia, the company supports young Malaysians in undertaking the world's leading youth achievement award. DOE Training and Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd. continues to work with schools, organisations, and strategic partners to create meaningful opportunities for young people to discover their strengths, develop confidence, and become active contributors to their communities.

Mission
It's designed to be structured and focused and be a great motivational tool for learners. Activities can be tailored to individual needs, interests, and strengths. Completing them can build confidence, encourage teamwork, and develop skills — encouraging young people and the elderly to be active and involved in their community.
Our founder
Mr Ravichandran Balasubramiam
Founder
Ravichandran is an accomplished leader in youth development, leadership education, and organisational transformation, bringing over four decades of experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, he is committed to developing future-ready leaders through innovative education, experiential learning, and strategic capacity-building initiatives. A graduate of the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Sports Science, Ravichandran combines academic expertise with extensive practical experience in leadership development. He is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer, a Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certified professional by NIOSH and HRDCorp, and holds a Certificate in Executive Digital Leadership from the Asia School of Business, delivered in collaboration with MIT Sloan Management. Throughout his career, he has designed and led leadership, youth empowerment, and organisational development programmes that have positively impacted thousands of young people, educators, corporate professionals, and community leaders. His work focuses on cultivating resilience, character, innovation, and lifelong learning while building strategic partnerships between education, industry, and government. Ravichandran has received numerous prestigious honours in recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth leadership and nation-building. These include the National Youth Award (Tokoh Belia Negara 2019)—Malaysia's highest recognition for youth leadership—the Meritorious Service Medal (PJK), and multiple national and state-level excellence awards for leadership and community service. His leadership extends beyond national borders. He has served as the International Council Youth Representative to HRH Prince Edward, Chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, contributing to international youth engagement and leadership initiatives. He also holds the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) and has served on expert panels and advisory councils under Malaysia's Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP). Recognised for his strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and unwavering commitment to social impact, Ravichandran continues to champion initiatives that empower individuals, strengthen organisations, and create sustainable opportunities for future generations. His leadership philosophy is founded on integrity, innovation, and the belief that education and service are powerful catalysts for meaningful change.
